A bit about me
I am a journalist by trade and over the past 25 years I've worked as the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, The Gazette, at Western University in London, Ont. in Canada, The Financial Post (now part of the National Post), Dow Jones Wire Service in Toronto, The Canadian Press (the Ontario bureau, Queen's Park and the business department) and The Globe and Mail, in the Report on Business as an editor, the Careers and Leadership Lab editor, a co-editor of Personal Finance, and deputy editor of Globe Investor. I love words and after years of working with them I have a lot of opinions about them. I've helped lots of young reporters, contributing writers and HR professionals and other executives polish their writing en route to having articles published. I have created my own process and strategy to help people write clearly and do it quickly – and without get stuck with writer's block.
